Finally home.

I just talked to Linda and they are all back at Traci and Brandon’s home in South Jordan.  It has been a very hard trip.  You can read my picture of it below.  The baby screamed all the way from the airport to the house since he has never been in a car seat.  At 11 months he knows what he doesn’t like and yet cannot begin to process how much better his life is now than it was 36 hours ago.  I know that Traci is working hard to not take any of it personally but you can imagine how hard it must be.  She has been planning this day for 25 years and this isn’t how she or anyone else would picture it.  Linda is feeling better, Traci and Brandon are exhausted and the boys are so excited to see their parents.

Please continue to pray hard for the next several days.  I am certain Traci will post something on her blog when she has recovered a little.

I know they will appreciate all this in a few days.  Thanks for your concern.

May the Lord cover you all with His blessings! Congratulations on your new grandson! What a wonderful story. Close friends of ours adopted two children from Korea—they’ve had many challenges, some hard times, and upsetting moments throughout the adoption and adjustment. But the reward has been two beautiful children who love their parents, and contribute to their parents’ joy in life. You all have a bright future ahead of you!

Poor little peanut…. Ruby still hates her car seat. I’m praying that they get a really long, good night’s sleep. Hopefully tomorrow will bring a bit of normalcy. I’m still praying.

I am very moved along with all of you for this very special work of God. Prayer is certainly the needed element to all the adjustments that lie ahead. It is a worthy and faithful God we trust. His plans are being worked out and HE IS BEING GLORIFIED.
Love to each one of you.
