I stumbled across your site after doing a search for “then the end will come” because I was looking for that verse so I could post it on a bulletin on myspace, but after reading what you wrote about “are we preaching the Gospel that we are called to preach” I got to wondering that myself. I’ll definately be visiting your page again. Real people are rare these days. Thanks for being one of them and God bless!
Greg, you asked for suggestions on books I’m reading: The IVP book by Andy Crouch is a good one to cause you to read, think and ask questions. It is titled “Culture Making” – enjoy!
Nice seeing you write again or perhaps it was me who lost contact. Intersting report and I look forward to hearing more of the seminar? you were reporting on. Do keep in touch – Love Larry
Years ago you almost hire me to be your youth pastor. I learned a great deal about myself & the faith through that process and time with; I now check your blog & am convinced that your impact on lives is even greater! You are a good man & I admire you! Eric Schmitt
Hi,
Just read your post on living in a fifth wheel. I loved it!!
We are looking at moving into a fifth wheel. I would love to ask you quesitons if you are available. Please e-mail me at the address above.
Great post on the church. I’ve had this feeling about church all along, that it’s more of a country club that we have to “protect” from non members. I’m just wondering what your take on tithing would be then. Tithe to the church? I”m finding myself not as joyful these days tithing to this institution of bigots. Shouldn’t be that way.
I have got to say as one still on the inside looking out there are parts of me that envy you. It truly is about Him and not about our stuff and strategies. Like you, one day I was awakened to the reality that this man-made organization has for the most part taken its eye of the ball (forgive the sports analogy). By the way. I loved your BCS blog and I have included a link on our website. God Bless You!

This is so good to read. I feel like I am sitting and listening to this amazing Pastor who not so long ago would read my diary then plan his sermon. Hahahahh
