Hi,nice article.I am leaning also to live in a fifth wheel.I am excited about Jesus and the future ,and being single and 58,truck driver, jack of all trades, and teaching myself to be a preacher,I sure wouldn’t want the bills or problems of a house.I don’t know where the Lord is leading ,but thought I would live in a trailer for now ,and buy a truck and travel as that presents itself.I sure am waiting for the Lord to bring me a wife-ministry partner,I wonder if while travelling around there would be an opportunity to be a lay pastor at campgrounds.Well,I’mexcited about your love for the Lord and to see Him leading you in ways you did not expect.I really need to hear from Him about these decisions.Thank you…….George Lowry………Pager 360-992-7111

Hi, Bob has been a friend for many years. My wife Francie was his secretary while he was in San Rafael Ca. and we transcribed many of his talks. I would really love to read the whole sharings from Bob’s teaching at the conference.

We are getting ready to purchace a 5th wheel, (it will be a used one ) to live in. I have anxious moments, but am for the most part at peace with it and actually looking forward to sharing my life with people, not things. You explained it beautifully and brought me to some spiritual awareness I haven’t felt in years! Thank-You. Sarah

WOW! My wife and I are burning to leave our lifestyle and live full-time in an RV. We are being “led” this way and have been for a long time as we look back. The joyand hope are rising to have this freedom and time you write about to love God and people.
Any thought or advice for our journey to deeper elationship with God and others?

I stumbled across your site after doing a search for “then the end will come” because I was looking for that verse so I could post it on a bulletin on myspace, but after reading what you wrote about “are we preaching the Gospel that we are called to preach” I got to wondering that myself. I’ll definately be visiting your page again. Real people are rare these days. Thanks for being one of them and God bless!
same handle for facebook…but I’m extremely new to facebook so I have absolutely nothing except my pic on there

Greg, you asked for suggestions on books I’m reading: The IVP book by Andy Crouch is a good one to cause you to read, think and ask questions. It is titled “Culture Making” – enjoy!

Years ago you almost hire me to be your youth pastor. I learned a great deal about myself & the faith through that process and time with; I now check your blog & am convinced that your impact on lives is even greater! You are a good man & I admire you! Eric Schmitt

Great post on the church. I’ve had this feeling about church all along, that it’s more of a country club that we have to “protect” from non members. I’m just wondering what your take on tithing would be then. Tithe to the church? I”m finding myself not as joyful these days tithing to this institution of bigots. Shouldn’t be that way.

I have got to say as one still on the inside looking out there are parts of me that envy you. It truly is about Him and not about our stuff and strategies. Like you, one day I was awakened to the reality that this man-made organization has for the most part taken its eye of the ball (forgive the sports analogy). By the way. I loved your BCS blog and I have included a link on our website. God Bless You!

This is so good to read. I feel like I am sitting and listening to this amazing Pastor who not so long ago would read my diary then plan his sermon. Hahahahh
Big hugs to you both Jennifer Kilts
