Greg - We look forward to reading your daily adventures and how you link these events to the Bible. We agree with your observation, that we are all responsible for the environmental problems. Our kayak trips have introduced us to a more intimate contact with the condition of Puget Sound.
With each trip, we become more aware of environmental concerns and our responsibility.
Enjoy your trip. Keep up posted.

Hi Greg,

Interesting posting; just read a brief article on Noah's ark this am:) The thought the writer shared was that only 1/3 of the ark was for the animals. I have studied this topic fairly intensively over the last seven years. The "science" answer to this question is that all animals come from common "kinds"; for example all dogs come from the dog family or kind; so only one male and female dog carrying all dog genetic information needed to be on the ark; not all the different "breeds". Just as with humans, we have all decended from "one pair"; that pair carrying all the genetic information needed to "produce" all the different people groups. People groups being much more appropriate than "races" as races suggests a different origin for all the different "colors" or "features". Statistically speaking there is a .012 percent difference genetically in the different "races"; therefor scientifically insignificant. The science actually shows the commonality one would expect from a single creator:) So what about the other 2/3 of Noahs ark? Well, the writer proposed that there was provisional space for those who would believe Noah; but none but his family believed. I found that to be very inspirational and comforting; ultimately another reason for why I have faith, hope and love for our Lord Jesus:) Have a Blessed day:)
